Rare portraits of two children, a girl and her little brother, painted in profile in "grisaille" by Piat-Joseph Sauvage (1744-1818), signed under the bust : Sauvage.

This double portrait, of an extremely realistic result for the work of Sauvage, is kept in its original medallion. On the reverse, the gold initials of the two children are kept on their respective hair strands.
