Miniature by François Meuret, signed in red on right : Meuret (erased) The portrait is identified on the back of the frame, engraved in the gilded bronze, the letters H and L and "Marquise de Talhouët à 17 ans ". It is the portrait of Léonie Marie Sidonie née Honnorez (1829-1892) (hence the monogram H L), on the day of her marriage on August 2, 1847, at the age of 17, with Auguste Elisabeth Joseph Marquis de Talhouët-Roy (1819-1884), future Mayor of Lude, General Councillor of Sarthe, Deputy, Senator, Minister of Public Works, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour.
