Léonie Marie Constance born Loys de La Grange in 1863, became by her marriage in 1881 with Raoul Hay des Nétumières (1852-1919), Marquise Hay des Nétumières, she disappeared in 1920. Cécile Villeneuve was a pupil of Léon Cogniet, then of François Meuret . She is rightly considered as one of the most talented miniaturists of the late19th century.
