Rare miniature signed by Amand Vincent de Montpetit, giving us the portrait of a woman painter (or pastellist), around 1780.

The miniature is painted on ivory, lined with a gold "paillon", rare fact for this artist inventors of the "éludorique" painting, better known for his fixed under glass.

 The work is signed on the right, along the oval canvas of the woman : A.V. MONTPETIT
