ARLAUD Jacques-Antoine (1668-1746), PORTRAIT MINIATURE OF THE PRINCESS DE CONTI, CIRCA 1700
Fine portrait on vellum by Jacques-Antoine ARLAUD, circa 1700. We know that Arlaud lived in the castle of Saint-Cloud from 1688 and became the painter to the Regent. There is in the collections of Chantilly, a miniature , painted after a portrait of Gobert, showing Louise-Elisabeth de Bourbon-Condé, said Mademoiselle de Bourbon, Princess de Conti ( 1693-1775 ), combed by the same red hat with white feather. Our showing portrait a blond woman with blue eyes, probably the one of Marie-Anne de Bourbon, said first Miademoiselle de Blois, Princess de Conti ( 1666-1739 ).TECHNIQUE:
