DESCRIPTION :

Very beautiful miniature, by Johan-Julius Heinsius (1740-1812), painted during the French Revolution.

Heinsius was first painter of Mesdames de  France, daughters of Louis XV.

During French Révolution, when this miniature was painted, he shared his life between Orléans and Paris.


CONDITION: Very good condition. A tiny beginning of crack restored by Bernd Pappe
