Represented in pilgrims' costumes of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, this fine double portrait of the 1740s, is identified on reverse and inside the miniature . Jean-Just Ferdinand Joseph, Prince de Croÿ d' Havré (1716-1790), and his wife, Marie-Bethléem-Ferdinande Lanti of Rovère, Countess de Priego. The Prince d' Havré was Colonel then a sergeant of cavalry of the Regiment of Berry.
