Miniature by Madame Amélie Daubigny (1793-1861), signed by her maiden name A. Dautel.

Painted before his marriage to the miniaturist Pierre Daubigny (1793-1858), circa 1820.. Both students of Aubry, the Daubigny couple exhibited regularly at the Salons from 1836 to 1855


CONDITION: Good original condition. Tiny cracks on reverse mother of pearl.
