DESCRIPTION :

Magnificent miniature by Louis Marie Sicard said Sicardy (or Sicardi). Painted around 1780, it depicts a young man in a plum jacket.

Sicardy offers us here a  beautiful portrait, all in sweetness and delicacy, which, associated with his meticulous and inimitable touch, gives the face this powdery and vaporous aspect that made it its success.

The miniature has retained its beautiful pendant of the time, where each stone is set in such a way as to let light pass through and reveal all their brilliance.
