Miniature par Moritz Michael Daffinger (1790-1849), portrait d'un jeune garçon, miniature signée à la mine de plomb en bas à droite : Daffinger Moritz Michael Daffinger est considéré à juste titre comme le premier peintre Viennois. Comme le précisait Léo Schidlof, ses oeuvres, suite à la visite de Thomas Lawrence à Vienne en 1819, gagnent en couleur, en éclat et en charme. Le superbe camaïeux bleu-orangé de l'arrière plan place cette oeuvre à cette période charnière.TECHNIQUE:
